Moore Street, Rozelle · 46 households
A resident proposal to ask Council for a greener, safer street with guaranteed parking — and we want your view first.
A conversation between neighbours. Not run by Inner West Council, a developer, or a political group. Started by a local Moore Street resident.
Why now
The new traffic lights near Bunnings have changed how traffic moves around us — and quiet streets like ours are exactly where drivers look for a shortcut. We can wait for Moore Street to become a rat run, or get ahead of it and shape the street we actually want. What follows is a starting proposal. It only goes anywhere if the street shapes it together.
Where do you stand?
One position per household. This is the headline number — the four parts below have their own, if you back some and not others.
Change it whenever you like — only your latest position counts. Your comments below all stay on the record. Please respond by Friday 30 October 2026.
The proposal
The “impression” images are visualisations of what each part could look like — not Inner West Council designs, and not approved plans. Nothing has been designed yet.

The discussion
Every comment stays visible — including the ones that disagree. That is the point: a proposal that has already survived its objections is worth more at Council than one that never heard any.

What happens next
A proposal shaped by this feedback — reflecting all of it, including the disagreements — is what the Moore Street Committee takes to Inner West Council. A handful of neighbours is enough, and it is not a big time commitment.
Your email is used only to contact you about Moore Street. It is stored separately from the discussion and never appears on this page.
Formal petition
Once Moore Street shows real momentum here — enough households responded, concerns worked through in the open — this becomes a proper petition to take to Inner West Council.
Early signers should be joining something real, not an empty page. So it stays shut until the discussion above earns it.
Opens once the street is readyYour house number is needed so each household counts once — it is never shown on its own. A first name is optional: leave it blank and everything you write appears as “a Moore Street resident”. No account, no password, no email.
